This happened to me a few times over the years. I have normal blood pressure, but on the lower side of normal. My doctor said some women see a mild dip in blood pressure at certain points in the monthly cycle. It's a small change, and wouldn't raise any flags during a routine physical but for some would be enough to cause dizziness/fainting when combined with the hot water in a shower.

This used to happen to me all the time when I was younger and quite thin. Now that I'm older and fatter, not so much. I didn't have any health problems.

This happened while I was experiencing hyper thyroid symptoms. Get a blood check for your thyroid levels.

How long do you have your head tilted back in the shower? That can cause the blood rush and dizziness too. Add in hot water to dilate the blood vessels and shunt the extremeties and you've got the perfect combo for dizzy spells post shower.

Overkill and probably not necessary to have this done. Now if OP had frequent fainting episodes, maybe it would be helpful. But for a one time episode, no.

This has happened to me when I was dehydrated. The heat made it too difficult for my body to regulate itself.
