A smart woman should know they can build upon their strengths in the process just like any man, 100% qualified or not.
I am female and apply for jobs I don't qualify for 100%. All the reviewer can say is 'no'. But if I do not apply, then I reduce my chances for employment by 100%. I'll take Vegas odds any day rather than not throwing the dice.

Just want to point out the "qualifications" required in gov job listings are WAY pumped up. You just wouldn't believe to whom position description is entrusted.

The more he talks, the deeper he hole he digs in his opinion of women. No way could he have an intelligent female boss. He reminds me of someone who would give her kudos in her position but call her 'honey.'

LOL!

I am female. I went to a women's college. I've seen it the entire range when it comes to female confidence. And we're not talking about interviewing. We're talking about filling out a form on USAJobs.

I'm not talking out of my ass here. There is research that women will not apply for a job unless they feel 100% qualified, but men will apply without all the qualifications.
