I'm allergic to dogs, and you obviously don't know anything about allergies. It's not the hair or fur, but the dander or skin of the dog most people are allergic. Very rarely, people are also allergic to dog salvia. If you can't control your dog to keep it from licking me, I can't be responsible to what happens to your dog when it happens to enter my personal space.

I hear you OP. I love animals but I go to some of my friends houses and their dogs are all up in my grill the second I walk in the door. "Oh she's just really friendly!" Yeah? That doesn't mean I want Fido's nose up my skirt.

Unfortunately many dog-owners do not understand the first thing about dog mentality and think dogs react like humans. No, they do not. Dogs need structure and rules, otherwise they will jump up, lick, bark or snip because they think they are the pack leader. If that happens they run the risk of being abandoned for these behaviors brought on by the wrong human interaction. A contented dog is a dog who follows his owner quietly.

If people had to pass a knowledge test about dogs' behavior/training in order to own one, there would be a lot less animals in shelters.

Hey did you ever happen to think that some ppl are afraid of dogs? Or yes allergic? Just because they don't hold a fucking sign up in front of you does not mean you can let your dog into their personal space. Is actually against the law in Moco. I know because some asshole let their dog attack my dog in our building lobby because the dog " wanted to play" and bit my dog at the neck. So no keep your fucking dog in your space unless someone says its ok to go into theirs.
