Does a tampon go up high enough to break a hymen?
Just where do you think your hymen is? If you have one and it wasn't broken early, it's way south of there the tampon goes.
I don't really know. I just want to be sure that if I get a pap smear, the person doing it won't be breaking my hymen, aka, finding out I'm a virgin, because I am at an embarrassing age to be one.
Oh, good lord.
If having a hymen is that embarrassing, order a sex toy and some lube from Amazon and break it yourself.
Your doctor is going to ask if you are sexually active, though. You should tell the truth because you don't want to have a lot of STD tests.
YES!!! Make the order. Breaking your hymen will be the last of your concerns. BELIEVE ME!
You should be seeing a doctor, regardless of hymen. Breast cancer and ovarian cancer and ovarian cysts and other problems happen regardless of whether you are a virgin or not.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:"Hymen" is sort of a stupid sexist thing that people think tends to correlate with virginity, but that's just not the case. Many girls are not born with hymens. There also like 20 different kinds of hymens, and they often "break" naturally just living life and doing ordinary things.
Exactly! I was bron without one.
