You've got to understand that, for us who are from different cultures, this view is neither here nor there. . In my culture it's trashy not to have a girl's ears pierced but I don't view girls from different cultures as trashy if they don't have pierced ears. I understand and appreciate that things are different here. My daughters had theirs done shortly after birth which is the norm for us. They look really cute with their tiny earrings.
I'm curious; which culture thinks it's trashy not to have a baby's ear pierced, and why?
