I'm the one who posted about about having all the fine hair. Yes, when I was a teen I used one of those chemical hair removers on my upper lip and it burned horribly and it look awful. I've been waxing ever since. So I don't even try the chemical removers anymore, no matter what brand. Won't even use them on my legs, where the skin is less sensitive.

Also, if you shave your arm hair, does it grow back stubbly like the hair on your calves, or fairly soft? I really don't have the time and $$ to start waxing my arms!

Try Salley Hansen facial hair removal. Put it on when you go in the shower and keep your face out of the spray. By the time you are done washing your hair, you can wash it off. Very easy and works great on peach fuzz, but not so much (at least for me) on anything coarser. Try a tiny section maybe the size of a dime first to make sure it won't break you out. I do it every few weeks or so.

I second the test it first idea. I tried it, luckily only a tiny spot, and the area I used it I had a swollen red area for more than a week. I would have been mortified had I down my whole upper lip.

I am Italian and German so lots of coarse dark hair on my pale body. I use Nair Shower something above my lip and the random ones on my chin, just leave it on like two minutes. Also just in the last 2 months have used it to remove the hair on my arms, it was just so long and so much of it. Maybe do it every three to four days.

I suppose the best answer to the OP's question is if someone else can see it and you wouldn't want them to then you need to remove it.

Hi, can you please share who you used? I've been looking for a good electrolysist for those long black hairs that pop up on my chin!

I have blonde peach fuzz all over my face. I leave it, because I heard somewhere that it gives you a youthful glow. In the bright sunlight, I probably look like Sasquatch, but a young Sasquatch.

Does anyone get their whole face threaded and if so, where?
