Something tells me that yoked bit isn't in my scripture.
A marriage where you can't laugh at each other's yokes will never last.

Subject: Atheist and marrying a Christian
I am Christian and my husband is an atheist and we have been married, and have had a good marriage, for nearly 20 years. During those 20 years, I have gone to church most Sundays and I bring the kids with me. My husband helps me gets them all in the car, drops them off at Sunday School, and then goes to Starbucks. We are very upfront with the kids that Dad does not believe there is a God, mom does, and that they will go to church through confirmation (it is obviously up them as to whether they choose to be confirmed).
For my part, I don't put my husband in awkward situations --no Sunday School, small groups etc., but he does come to church with the family on Christmas and Easter. Also, I go to a liberal main line church where people accept the situation as it is and support me and don't try to convert my husband.
My kids have navigated all of this very well and one of them has chosen to be confirmed.
