That's an easy one...don't give them any more hand me downs. My sister kept giving hand-me-downs to one of her close friends and others did as well. Once they started seeing everything on FB they stopped giving the hand me downs. She was basically getting everything she could to then resell and the couple hundred dollars she made tarnished several relationships. Do you know that the person knew these were from you or was it generic things that it's hard to remember where they came from?

How do you know they sold it on Ebay? Did they tell you? That would be tacky.

I don't get people who want to control gufts after they are given. I f eel it is controlling. In that case , I would rather not have the gift.

Once they thank you, it's theirs, and there should be no expectation for the gift.
