I'm one of the early people who said it would be hot and rain most afternoons in June - and I am admitting to poor reading comprehension (in this instance). Missed that this was Disney LAND, not Disney World.

don't know specifically about grand floridian but i was shocked to see my sister's photos from le cellier in epcot. i would never have believed that was a disney place! i wouldn't worry about being too dressed in a place like that (since everyone there is pretty much on vacation, and everyone knows that) but at the same time I wouldn't just wear the same shorts/tee I would wear all day there- pack an easy casual dress and probably a casual but nicer outfit for your husband

Florida is pretty relaxed in general. I think your husband would be fine in a polo shirt and slacks/khakis. For you, I would go nicer than shorts/tee, but if you're not a dress person I don't think you need one. Just nicer pants and a top. It can be cool in November (it can also be hot as blazes), so check weather before you go.

I would suggest bringing along a lightweight windbreaker type jacket and a sweater/sweatshirt/fleece top and pair of jeans. It can be cooler in the evenings. I always wear a t-shirt and hiking shorts with tennis shoes. I carry a lighter weight tote bag that zips instead of a purse.

Much better than a fanny pack and still keeps your hands free. Merrell, Clarks and Born make comfortable and not too frumpy sandals.

This. I grew up in So CA and have probably been to Disneyland at least 50 times in June. Be sure to check the weather forecast before you go - just as we've had a cool spring, they've had a warm one, but the June weather is usually as the PP described. Some days, even, the clouds never burn off and it's in the low 60's all day. There are lockers near the entrance on Main Street where you can stash extra clothes if you need to take them off. If you get new shoes before you go make sure they're broken in because you're going to do A LOT of walking and standing.

I wore sandals from naturalizer- not their super frumpy grandma sandals, but a basic slip on style with cross straps.

California in June is nowhere near as hot as Florida in June. We went in July and weren't terribly hot: shorts, tank top and sandals worked fine. Only th Asian tourists are terribly dressy anyway.

Any advice on a good sandal brand? I'd prefer to wear sandals over sneakers but worry about the straps chafing. Are Keens the way to go?

In WDW I wore athletic skorts (with wicking undershorts) from Athleta, wicking tops, and Keens during the day. I had a cross-body bag that held: extra sunblock, chapstick, cardigan or wrap for the over air conditioned restaurants, phone, sunglasses, water bottle w/ filter. I'm big on staying hydrated. The filter helped with the brackish taste to the water and I could refill at any water fountain. I also had a stash of bandaids, wipes or sanitizer. And extra ponytail holders. Could have smooshed two rain coats in there, if necessary (weather cooperated and we didn't need them).

At night I wore knit dresses and privo sandals.

DH also had a small bag. I think it is called a "field bag". Big enough for a camera, phone, rain coat.
