Subject: Washington Ethical Society?
Has anyone been to the Northern Virginia Ethical Society? I think they meet in Vienna. I'm about a half-hour from both places (WES and NOVES) and am trying to determine which would be best for my family to check out. I was raised Jewish, my husband is a recovered Catholic, we are currently a pair of spiritual atheists/agnostics, and we have a 3yo daughter. Thanks for any insights!

WES members believe a variety of things...some are atheists, some believe in God or something akin to God.
WES members come from a variety of religious and non religious backgrounds.
What we tend to have in common is a a desire for community and a belief in putting deed before creed and a faith in human goodness.

Are WES members typically atheists? Agnostic? People raised in culturally religious homes who are now unbelievers?
