Sure there are many aspects of who you are. Its OK to post that you are Christian, or an athlete, or an immigrant, or . . . gay or bi. Your attitude just perpetuates the idea that this is a shameful thing.

...and you would be wrong. However, I didn't get the impression that is what OP's child did on Instagram.
