I posted Lola, but honestly I don't think you need a nickname for Charlotte. I like a substantive name, and I know not everyone does, but I think you just Charlotte is adorable.

The Charlotte I know goes by Charlotte.

The Charlottes I know go by Lottie.

Char -- but that is so horrible. please don't.

I love Lottie.

We chose a different name for our newborn daughter, but Charlotte was in the running. Her nickname would have been CC too.

I have a young Charlotte in my family and her family calls her "Lotta." It seems a bit of stretech to me. I think Charlie is the obvious, but really, it's two syllables. I'm not sure she automatically needs (or will be given) a nickname, especially if you don't want one.

I have heard of Lola as a nickname for Charlotte, which I think is cute.
