Does everyone in DC have a massive inferiority complex? Everyone has to mention where they live other second.

I like to hop the metro to Gallery Place and walk to the one on 7th street.

Love my DC proper and the walk ability of the Hooters location.

That's if I am not stuck at the White house all day, then I have to hit TGi Fridays on Pennsylvania Ave.

OK, living in the city or not has nothing to do with patronizing chains

It does. There are just so many choices in DC proper that are not chains, and many chains don't even come into the District. When you don't have a car, it's not really an option to cruise Rockville Pike to pick which chain you will eat at that night.

Point missed.

What IS the point, then? I really doubt many District residents are choosing to drive out to one of the "pikes" to eat at Olive Garden on a Saturday night.

Dc proper makes me giggle.

Yes I have, yes I am a woman. I watch the OJ car chase in a Hooters. Wow that was a weird memory.

The new one has huge Tvs and is usually somewhere between my kids soccer games and we will make a quick stop for a beer.

We used to go for UFC events until they changed their boneless wings. I'm pregnant and I keep getting craving for their old boneless wings. Such a bummer.

Yes. And they could specialize in sausage. I would be a regular.

But those who live in the city will try to admonish those who don't in any way possible. Because we all want to work on the hill, right? Right? Hullo? Anyone?

Thats what I thought.
