I make my own granola. It's not low in fat, but I know exactly what goes in it-- real food (oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds, dried cherries, shredded coconut, olive oil, maple syrup, spices).

We mix regular Cheerios with Honey Nut. Cuts down on the sweetness and the kids really don't notice.

We buy organic Chex-type and Kashi-version cheerios.
This week my daughter asked to try Life cereal. It looked to be basically nutritionally comparable to the Chex cereals so we've given it a shot.
I'd prefer she have a more rounded breakfast, but since she otherwise won't drink milk, I'm okay with cereal since she ingests all the milk as well which makes it a good option for us.

You're an idiot. Lots of cereals are very healthy.
Name one, and explain why it is healthy.

I like the Nature's Path Heritage Flakes and Multigrain Flakes. 110cal, 4g protein, 4g sugar in 3/4c cereal.
