I wear nice pants/jeans flats when I leave the house and comfy leggings/sweatpants at home. For instance, this morning I was going to playgroup so I pulled on a good pair of jeans and a nice t-shirt. When I got home, I swapped the nice jeans for leggings. Then the baby threw peanut butter on my shirt so I had to change shirts. Then I had to go do pickup and after-school activities with my oldest, so I pulled on a pair of shorts because the weather had warmed up and because I don't like to wear leggings out of the house. When I get home, I'll probably swap the shorts for leggings again so I can finish cleaning/making dinner without worrying about messing up my clothes.
I feel like I'm constantly changing clothes and making extra laundry, which I hate. But I feel like the trade off would be to wear leggings and beat up tees all day, and I don't know if I am ready to go down that route. I still want to pay at least a modicum of attention to how I look...
What about you? Do you just pull on one outfit and leave it all day? Is this not normal?

It's not THAT hot out that you had to change into shorts, and if you weren't already changing to leave the house I think you would have been fine to leave on the jeans.

+1. At the most, I would change a top if it got food or spit up on it. PPs must do a lot of laundry!
