We really liked the Arthur spin-off show - Buster. He goes on different adventures around the world. I should clarify: I really liked it. My boys were a little indifferent.

Super Why and Dino Dan are great.

If he's not already into Thomas the Train, that phase is probably coming soon. Beware. You may never get the son out of your head ("they're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight, shunting trucks and hauling freight, red and green and brown and blue, they're the really useful crew...")

Same here, plus Little Einsteins and Veggie Tales. Can't wait for them to get older b/c I want an excuse to watch Liberty Kids.

Why is your four year old not allowed to watch Caillou?

Caillou is obnoxious and his parents/other adults never say anything about it. I couldn't stand to listen to it and my son was copying the whiny, rude behavior so we cut it out.

My three year old still likes Sesame Street, but he also sometimes watches Curious George and The Berenstain Bears. Neither is really that educational, but they both have a nice message. Also, because he has a bunch of CG and BB books and really likes them, he usually doesn't throw a fit when I say, "we're finished watching t.v. for today, but let's find a Berenstain Bear book I can read you."
