Grey makes no sense with tan and white corian. I would paint a blue or green as the OP stated or white.

I totally disagree with pp and think gray cabinets only highlight white appliances. I would paint cabinetry white and the walls light gray. I think gray on new cabinetry is fine, but for whatever reason I think it looks like it's trying too hard in older kitchens. We painted white until we remodeled.

I don't think white cabinets look good with white appliances, so I think the color scheme should be: white appliances, cool light grey cabinets, and sand/beige countertops. I would also do a soft neutral wall color and remove any jarring accessories (the red rug, the things on the counter, etc.)

If the appliances were stainless I might choose white cabinets, but otherwise it will look like a hospital or that all the whites just don't match.
