I gave some extras to someone I knew who was doing ivf. Most places can’t take meds back and re-dispense them to others due to the inability to know if they were stored properly.

It isn’t good to flush drugs or put them down the sink. Trash is fine.

It is VERY common to share unused fertility meds. I've gotten and given meds through Facebook and Reddit infertility groups. For many, the cost of meds can be the difference between between affording IVF or not.

Therefore, there aren't any clinics willing to take back meds since most women have their IVF drugs paid for. I was the one who mentioned this first and you are right I think. I used menopur only so it was offered.

I think Grubbs said they would only buy back meds that didn't require refrigeration - I guess to ensure the meds hadn't been incorrectly stored and thus made ineffective..
