A lot of Nancy Brinker's money goes to Republicans who are sponsoring legislation to take away women's rights! So she isn't spending her money on women's rights but rather making a point to limit women's access to healthcare!

I will never support Komen again.
Too many other organizations to donate to. Brinker is a liar too so that was enough for me.

Told you all the charities are frauds including red cross.

Yup. Read the recent NYT Magazine article about this. Eye opening.

I used to donate to them since I have two friends battling breast cancer plus I had one friend die from it.

But after the whole "Planned Parenthood" fiasco, they will never see another red cent from me.

I know they did damage control, but the damage was done.

Why do people throw so much money at them? Does it really make them feel better?

All of these agencies have so much overhead none of the $ actually goes to research.

After the whole Planned Parenthood thing, I no longer support them.

I have friends who are suffering from breast cancer so I will be seeking other organizations to fund.
