Because at our house, notices from school arrive home months late, are found crumpled at the bottom of the book bag, etc. Once found a birthday invite over 6 months later in our car. Somehow, we all seem to survive.

Either you're so laid back you don't even realize the kids are taking the tests or you're so obsessed with the testing that your child does nothing but test prep and they turn into robots. In reality, the number of people falling into these groups are probably very very small. 99% of us probably fall somewhere in between. But I do agree with one of the previous poster who say that people on this website are not likely to be the truly laid back. I know people who are really laid back about these types of stuff and they don't even know what DCUM is.

Why do you care? How does it affect you?

I didn't call you a liar...I said I think they are liars. (Different than "you are lying." It is my opinion...and I am entitled to it).
Ah, the truth comes out about you're overwhelming sense of entitlement. So typical.

You assumed correctly. A test is an assessment.

Anonymous wrote:We had no idea of the schedule. It was probably announced in the Tuesday folder. My wife probably read it. I did not know. We found out about the CogAT when my DD came home. Wanting to see and play with the new puppy. She also told us about a test she took.
She is now in AAP, and the dog is a very happy and good dog. And yes, the dog did eat her homework at least once.
