It is a great school if you can afford it. Good academics, good location. Negatives- too expensive and they should just do away with the Greek life.

Bumping this thread. DC is looking at Tufts, and so far I like what I see.

Any new thoughts?

I was WL at Tufts in the late 90s, got in, but chose NYU and never regretted that decision. I think you're fine anywhere you want to go

You're thinking of Wellesley. Just kidding, though, Wellesley is a great school.

I am not sure if there is continuing interest in this but as a big fan of Tufts, I just thought I would note that BC's location is very suburban and very inconvenient, and although BU has a nice river location, it is actually not that close to many things, so they often end up taking taxis or the T places, just like the Tufts students. Davis Square has changed dramatically so if you have not been there in 20 years, most, though not all of it, has changed and it is quite nice, certainly not a reason to cross Tufts off one's wish list.
