I'd be very nervous to start a cycle there with just one doctor. I think I'd either wait or go somewhere else.

Agree. SGFC doesn't "graduate" you until 8 weeks and then only officially after you have another u/s with your own OB at 10 weeks.

No, they released ME at 6 weeks 4 days because of my lack of risk factors. I am young and we are solely male factor.

Most REs release you after a heart beat is detected depending on your risk factors. And even afte I was released when appropriate for me, my nurse continued to respond to my questions and STILL checks up on me.

Please be sure you have all the information before you post incorrectly about the clinic. If you don't like them, fine, but your post isn't accurate.

I despise Catherine but thought Christy was wonderful.

I think Catherine will be back soon so that is reassuring! She's always able to put me at ease about my treatments.

I'll just say that when I had my cycle with ER 1 Feb and ET 6 Feb, I didn't even notice Dr G was gone - he was our consult and everything, but between the nurses (I only talked to Kym once when Christine was out for the day) and Dr F, I didn't notice anything was going on and still got great care.

For monitoring, the ultrasound techs and nurse (I'm horrible with names, but the older lady) were great and they're still there.

Not really sure what's going on there but I've worked with and spoke to a number of nurses there and they have always been great. Just because your nurse left doesn't mean you can't work with someone else...the doctor is the most important person in your care and makes all the decisions. Hang in there, you will get through this. Good luck to you!

What happened to Dr. G? He was there forever!

She does have older kids. And now a baby. She hid the pregnancy well and then was out on leave and only came back for a few weeks before leaving for good.

When was Melissa pregnant? I thought her children were older...

Usually when people leave abruptly and without notice, it isn't a voluntary separation. I never did like Gindoff, he was always abrupt, arrogant and more concerned with flaunting his credentials than actually providing any real care or answers. Didn't know Kym at all so I cannot speak to her as a nurse, but I do absolutely LOVE Catherine and Melissa.

Catherine is out because she just had a baby and the Gindoff thing was out of left field for sure.

New nurse Andrea is great.

Dr. Frankfurter is wonderful. Smart, experienced, compassionate, completely available via email and phone, and really invested in his patients.

Sounds like they're going through a rough patch for sure, but they're not a bad practice. Just want people who might be in the middle of a cycle there not to totally freak out.

I just received incorrect information about the start of my cycle and I chalked it up to her knowing she was on her way out and not caring or having too much going on. She did the same thing to me--fluke is that turned out to be my best cycle numbers-wise (though I miscarried). But it was a mistake on her part, she was supposed to bring me in two days earlier. Stressed me out throughout the cycle, wondering if we'd messed it up.
