I hate when people say "no worries" instead of you're welcome. I'm not worried, I'm being appreciative and expressing thanks.

"Speaks volumes," as in "Your comment on the Supreme Court arguments speaks volumes about how you perceive gay marriage."

I hate it because it usually just means the person is supposing/assuming what someone else thinks based on flimsy facts.

I often hear the grammatically INCORRECT statement:

"Jenny gave the gift to Henry and I."

"Katie talked to Joe and I."

It should be Henry and ME.

Joe and ME.

Women who do this strike me as having no self-identity and very dependent.

Improper use of lay/lie bugs the crap outta me. It shouldn't but it does.

Dubya started the incentivize trend. he said it in a couple of speeches. and then it became a term.

You realize that it's normally said ironically - at least with people I know.

I pull this one out every time this topic comes up: "graduated high school" just grates on me. Is it really so hard to add the "from"?

Using "it's" when you are supposed to use "there is" or "there are."

For example, "It's gonna be a lot of people there."

WTH?

Or a 60 year old saying "cool". Wait... maybe their generation came up with that one??
