Percy Pigs from Marks & Spencer. Get more bags than you think you'd need.

I lived in London for years and nothing compares to these soft delicious chewy pig gummies. Don't get the iterations like fizzy tails, etc. - go for the classic Percy Pigs.

Same question, 10 years later. I am going in March and wondering what are some nice items to bring back as souvenirs and for myself.

Red telephone box salt and pepper set....NOT. Also no to a t-shirt that says "Mind the Gap". Anything else is fine.

Harrod's tote bag, cool English candy that's harder to find here (which you can get at Tesco). The Tower of London gift shop has great finds, and it's not tooooo expensive. I bought clothes for my kids at Marks & Spencer. Don't laugh, but the underwear and undershirts at "Marks & Sparks" are the softest cotton in the world - to die for. I still buy my son underwear from M&S when I can, and he's 16 now!

PS You can also buy them here, but then of course you have to pay for postage:

The toy marching soldiers mentioned above are cute. Don't give these to a family with a cluttered house, though-- those HURT if you step on one...

My sons like those red diecast double-decker buses also.

You can get Hobnobs at World Market. Not sure I've seen the caramel ones there though.

I'd bring back crisps (chips). There are lots of different flavours that you don't get over here. You'll also find different chocolate bars that you can't get over here.

Here's a good list of shops in London that you can get unusual gifts from:

For young kids try magazines. I get Peppa Pig, Bob the Builder and Fireman Sam for my sons when I go home. WH Smith usually has a good selection.
