Wegmans in Fairfax is the same way. We were told there that the water has to be he hot b/c their is food prep. That doesn't explain all the places where it isn't too hot.

No comment on the CF, but look under the vanity counter to see if there are hot and cold turn-off valves. We had the same problem at our office last year after some plumbing work was done, and we were able to adjust the temperature with the valves.

That may actually improve the food at the Cheesecake Factory.
