OP if he's in high quality care with loving teachers, he's doing great! Please don't feel guilty. I will say my son ended up having behavioral problems at day care around age 4, partially due to a long day (9 hours for him). Partially due to a bad teacher. So keep an eye out down the road. But my little extroverted guy thrived in daycare with tons of playmates, for years.

Run properly, a good daycare or aftercare program is like their neighborhood. They hang out and play with friends. A good daycare will also allow more introverted kids to have time to themselves coloring, reading, etc. Quality is paramount, so just keep an eye on that. Best wishes.
