According to the Washington Business Journal, Gordon said the FBI would be appropriate for Prince George’s County because that’s where the agency would find the people it picks up.

Three strings of robberies in our GF neighborhood. All three times, perps were from - and picked up in - PG county.
Truth hurts.
Golly, three property crimes. Maybe you should move to the outer suburbs. You aren't cut out for living in such close proximity to other people.
So it only counts if they shoot someone? I see...
Again, truth hurts. We get PG residents crossing the bridge specifically to steal
And all of those Latinos in VA and there illegally! Give me a break. Stay in your hole.

Your neighborhood doesn't sound very safe. Where I live in PG we never have robberies. Maybe you should move?![]()

Well, there's a huge ICE Detention Center blocks from the Dunn Loring metro station.

They tend to be afraid of the crime-ridden-poor-black majority-county. Well, except for the National Harbor because that's not really PG. It's Fairfax adjacent.
When we moved to the DC area we chose to live in PG county for it's diversity. DH's job is in AA county and we first looked at houses there but found we liked PG County better. We live in an ideal neighborhood where we know everyone on our street and the majority of the people in the next four blocks. We live in a house but near apartment complex that is home mostly families and graduate students.
The large apartment complex near where the FBI headquarters is slated to go is under new management and crime is down. It was a troubled spot because the rent was cheap and there are 2,900 units there. Well, the affordable housing and section 8 is still available but this new management is not renewing leases for known trouble makers. While I still wouldn't hang out there at night I have volunteered at their elementary school during the day. Crime there has most certainly decreased there.

Prince George's is many things, but diverse it is not, unless you count fairly monolithic African-American to be diverse. Somehow, I doubt you consider Faifrax to be diverse.
Which community on your list qualifies as diverse?
Probably Montgomery County, no race is a majority, and there's double digit percentages of AA, AZN, and HISP.
Am surprised Loudoun is more diverse (or at least is as diverse) as Arlington.
Crime is down nationwide, the DC area is probably no exception.
