Anyone have tick issues at Bull Run? I thought there was a bad outbreak/infestation there?

Not for this weekend, but HUGE recommendation to get out to Bull Run Regional Park in manassas when the bluebells are out in early April. Huntley meadows in Alexandria is quite nice. Boardwalk for most of the way, little nature center.

Burke Lake, Lake Accotink, or any of the trails behind Hidden Pond or Hidden Oak nature centers.

Another vote for Roosevelt Island. Just watch the low areas for mud. And the center area is great for running around.

Maybe Great Falls? The basic trail with the lookouts will be fine for the stroller. I also like Manassas - wide open trails.

definitely not the Billy Goat trail
if you're kid's in a stroller the Capital Crescent Trail is good. I wouldn't put my toddler down on this trail on his feet during the weekend b/c some bikers do not slow down.
also the Arboretum can be done with a jogging stroller

Scott's Run. You can walk down to a smallish waterfall. If you park in the big parking lot of Georgetown pike you will pass over a water crossing. You can also park in the Langley swim club parking lot.
