Of course nobody takes everything they read on faith. But there are others on this thread besides you who have actual experience with both public and private, and several of us prefer public.

Having done both, private is better. Just very expensive. "All" of the schools are "the best" in every state. Do you believe everything you read?

I don't mind dissection, but a squid seems over the top for K, really conspicuous consumption. I guess dissecting a daisy is too prole? I'm also curious which school, unless this is satire.

My kid did owl pellets in public, but maybe in 1st or 2nd grade. Although I think there's something to be said gmfor learning the parts of a flower, I guess the publics can't compete with orchid dissections, and the owl pellets in a higher grade must seem pathetic....

Dissecting is disgusting and would not want my k kid doing this. Which private? We are in private as well but this is over the top.
