OP here. I've definitely seen the stats on teen pregnancy, but 8th grade seems SO young. I'm just wondering how common this is in the everyday. I went to Catholic school growing up and we never had pregnant kids in school. Seriously ... Does that answer what rock I was living under?

If I live in Howard county or Montgomery county I would be surprised. If I lived in Baltimore or Caroline county then not so much.
I suspect there are girls in our Bethesda HS who get pregnant. Don't hear about any having babies though. Draw your own conclusions.
