Both of my girls looked exactly like the Podlings from the movie, "The Dark Crystal" (maybe at least one person will know the movie even though it is obscure) until they were about three months old. They did not match at all what I thought a baby of mine would look like. Eventually, they became adorable. Don't worry OP, you probably had a mental image of what this baby would look like based on your first DC, so you just need time adjust. And your baby will grow in to herself and fill out, losing that old man look soon enough.

Their dad's knees? That's awesome!

OP, in my country we say babies look like their dad's knees when they're born. Don't sweat it. It's normal.

As they start getting fat to fill up the wrinkles they start looking cuter.

I think it sounds like you are just having trouble bonding with her. Do you have any thoughts that you might be experienceing the baby blues or PPD? I know that really interfered with my ability to bond with my kids.

Get some sleep if you can and ask yourself if it might make sense to see a doc about your feelings. Once that bond takes hold, she will be the most gorgeous thing you have ever laid eyes on.

My daughter's nose was really smushed and crooked at birth. I hate to admit this but one of my first thoughts was about letting her get a nose job as a teenagers. Fast forward 24 hours and her nose had straightened itself out. Fast forward three months and she was truly adorable!

All of that is to say, do not worry -- MOST babies look a little funny when they are born and it take awhile for their features to figure themselves out.

Also, mine sounded like an Australian Galah, which, if you have ever heard one, is a terrible sound and very loud...

My baby was so "ugly-old-man" looking at birth that we made up a fake Most Wanted poster for him and laughed about it for weeks. By 3 months, he'd grown into his looks and as he got older, I had people tell me that he was the cutest kid they'd ever seen (aside from their own, of course).

DS broke out in a horrible rash across the bridge of his nose about two weeks after birth. This is very, very common and I read somewhere that it was my hormones that he had absorbed through the placenta working their way out of his system. Now, I don't know if that's true or not but whatever - I was a new first time mom, I had a baby that looked like a little old man with a huge red rash all over his nose and cheeks and apparently it was my fault that he looked terrible. And I HATED it. But time passed and he grew into his face and the rash went away. So don't worry, this too shall pass.

So true! We thought she was the most beautiful baby ever born, and now when we look at her photos we're like "alien baby!"

OMG. I was about to post the same thing. We have some photos where our daughter looks exactly Winston Churchill when she was ~3 weeks old!

I thought my newborn was SO CUTE. Now I look back on those pictures and OMG she was so funny-looking, I just had no basis for comparison.
