Yes- I make it frequently, but not in a bread machine (stupid paddle kept popping off in the dough so I got rid of it). I use my stand mixer with the hook attachment or knead it myself- depending on how pissy my day has been (kneading is a fabulous stressbuster). I like Best Buns a lot, also Heidelberg. In DC, Le Caprice in Columbia Heights has great baguettes.
To the La Brea fan, it's really good, but do they ship it in from LA? That's a non-starter for me.
