Go to Wiley Wagg, they know their food and can help with a good recommendation.

I suggest you check out a independent petstore that sells only high end dog food and read the back of dog food.

I don't get it. Everyone touts "grain free" but the recipe posted contains grains.

Do you know what breed you'll be getting? Because some from the British Isles (a lot of the terriers) do well with a diet that has a lot of fish in it. They do not process beef and wheat as well as others. Go with lamb or fish if possible.

And for all puppies--STAY AWAY FROM BLUE BUFFALO. It is too high in protein for the puppies young digestive system--they will constantly get the runs from it. When they are @ 1 year you can start in with that stuff, if you want. I grind fish and cooked barley and lamb each week for our Jack Russell Menace. We had an Airdale and an Irish Terrier for 10 years--same diet. They lived 12 and 16 years--zero health issues. Died of old age.

We have a dog that has always had a little bit of a sensitive stomach so we have tried quite a few of the better brands of dog food. We found that Nutro was a good brand for her stomach. When she was a puppy, we used Nutro Ultra puppy food. Then we used Nutro Natural Choice Sensitive Stomach adult (grain-free in the turquoise bag), and now we use Nutro Natural Choice Senior for Sensitive Stomachs (Silver bag). You can get all of them at Petsmart or Petco. As an adult we also give her half a can of Nature's Choice Farm Stand Selects wet food. It looks just like chicken stew. She has been very healthy and very happy on this diet. I know you can get all of these foods on Amazon Prime for just a few dollars more, but we get her groomed at Petsmart, so it is just as easy to pick the food up while I am there.

Orijen but be careful because you want your pup to be a bit on the skinny side and grow slowly. It's better for their joints and bones and grain free kibble is pretty high calorie.
