It sounds like pretty much the same conditions as the Wilson bridge Half, if any of you ran it. I thought that was a great day. Chilly before the start, fine once we started running, some light rain.

If it is cold and raining, I'm not running it. I don't want to freeze and be miserable. This is supposed to be fun. I'll just start drinking green beer. I'm sure some bars will be open.

I hate being wet. Not looking forward to a wet race with wet shoes, wet everything. I am doing the marathon this year. Last time I did the full the finish line was incredibly dirty, trash everywhere, booths that were supposed to be open for food were closing and I still remember that bowl of cold soup that was horrible.
I swore not to do a marathon where the halves start at the same time, but here I am. Baltimore is ever so memorable, with a real afterparty at the finish

A little nervous but not about the weather. Would rather have it be rainy and 45 then unseasonably warm and sunny. The forecast doesn't look so bad today.

I'm excited. Yes, it may rain but they say it won't be a hard rain. I've run half marathons with some rain and it wasn't a big deal. Just make sure you lube up your feet and any area where your clothes might chafe.

I'm not happy about the transportation logistics but I guess it is what it is.

Anyone else getting nervous? Looks like the weather may not be too great, which is adding to my stress level.

Good luck to everyone this weekend training. This should be your last long run and the start of the taper. Three more weeks.

Doing the 1/2 and so far my longest run was just over 11. This weekend I'll be doing 12 and then probably wind it down. I run 4 days a week with short runs around 4 miles. I get up at 5:30 to get my run done before my husband goes to work (short runs).

I know it has been cold, but once I get moving, I really haven't found it to be too bad. I wear fleece lined pants, a thinner long sleeve shirt, a fleece lined running jacket with zipper so I can control my heat. I don't wear gloves because my normally cold hands get crazy warm. I do wear some sort of head gear (hat or headband). It really isn't that bad.

I do think the regular short runs have helped with my stamina. Now, if I could only get my shoe issue resolved, but that's a topic for another thread.
