If you tell a 15-yr old not to watch South Park on tv, he/she will likely watch it on a) their computer, b) hand-held device/smartphone, or c) at their pal's house. Indeed, if you fear SP(which I love, and have 3 teenagers) then you probably shouldn't let your kids ride the school bus or attend school. Ever wonder what those conversations sound like?

Pretty screwe up to let a 4 yo watch family guy.

I don't watch this show. Just wanted to say when I was a kid, if I saw something that was inappropriate - I just didn't "get" it. For example, I remember seeing "Grease". Rizzo fears she is pregnant. I had no idea what they were talking about. The fact that she "skipped a period" - I thought they meant a class. Someone mentions a "bun in the oven" - I really did not know what this meant.

I think many things just go over your head when you're still innocent....

Screwed up how? My oldest watched the same sort of shows as a kid (and so did my 13 y/o, BTW). Both are great girls, give me no discipline issues, don't wear or buy slutty clothes, don't fight at school and are respectful.

What hidden damage do you see, wise one?

I can't wait to watch it with her! She is 10 now and not interested in it, but I will watch with her when she discovers it and laugh my ass off. South Park is funny!

You kidding? South Park?

15 is old enough to understand the difference between tv and reality. South Park is a hoot.

Oh my friend, if your son is in high school, he has seen and heard worse.

My DS and DH both watch it and they trade commentary on it. It is quite entertaining to hear their conversations about it.

My brother lets my 10 year old nephew watch it. I think that is too young.
