Agreed. If the first counselor does not "get it"... Keep searching. There are decent ones out there. The hospital also probably has resources to refer you to as well.

OP: I am very sorry for your loss. If you choose therapy to help you, be sure you go to someone who really understands infertility. There have been some horror stories about some therapists who get way off track and do not understand the devastation of multiple miscarriages. (I had four, and went to a specialist in post partum/loss/ miscarriage). Recommended by my OB. Good luck, and there is happiness ahead for you, hard as it is to imagine now.
