You're not wrong about the wasteful part, IMO, which is why I try to do something nicer. Interesting point about setting DS up to think he should get a present every time he goes to a party. My DS is younger, so I hadn't considered that.
Oh, to OP, since I participated in hijacking your thread - I'd bring 4 goody bags. You probably won't use all of them, but better to be prepared. Why can't people just RSVP???
