I am coughing and my chest is hurting, I am very tired but I am running a low fever chills as well. Do I have the flu or what? I do. Have Diabetes.

I definitely had this a few weeks ago! It lasted for about four days. I felt achy all over - could have sworn I had the flu, but never had any fever or cough or anything.

I had runny nose for 3 days, then painful body aches with bad sore throat for 2 days and now cough with sore throat for the last 3 days. Still feeling very run down.

I tested negative for flu and strep. Dr. says it is most likely a virus. Am going to be blood tested for 5ths Disease today, though there is nothing they can do for that. Just want to know what it is.

They're were saying a while ago that this year's strain of the flu has been presenting itself with no fever in a lot of people.

If she has body aches and flu symptoms I would get it checked out, might be just a virus but just in case don't send her to school until your sure.

Yes. My 4 year old DS woke up yesterday saying his whole body hurt. He had a slight fever but it did not last. He said his body still hurt today so he has been out of school for two days. He seems better tonight so hopefully it has passed.

Same w my son and he ended up having Lyme. Blood test could check for it.

Yep, we've all had this - it started first at Christmas with my 2 year old, then my husband, then me and lastly my 3.5 year old this past weekend. Feels awful but was short lived for all of us.
