This (to me) implies that a school that can not provide a tour that day is not really welcoming. If this was not the implication than why not call ahead and come at a convenient time. I will not hijack OPs thread further..

Anonymous wrote:Yes..MCPS provides extra staff that are just waiting to give tours at a moments notice. It makes class size larger across the board but so important that it is standard at each school. If warm cookies are not served by both the principal and a classroom teacher before you leave..find another neighborhood.
