There are people who have a fainting reaction, or something close, to anything involving needles. Its not a reaction to the particular vaccine itself.

I started mine when I was 15 and finished the 3rd when I was 16. I didn't have any problems.

Our daughters both had it at 14; we'll probably give it to our son at the same age.

I gave it to my older son at his 13 year check-up, they started asking me to give it to him at his 12 year check-up. It's been a year, no side affects other than the shot hurts and his arm was very sore after.

At what age are you starting Gardasil for boys?

my 18 years old daughter had side effect with the 1st shot, she got light headed as we were leaving. extremely pale, lips looked blue, felt as she was going to pass out & arm felt numb-
Doctor came out and took her back to the room and watched her, never left her, she was ok for after 15 minutes. She also had a flu shot.
The second one she was fine.
(DO NOT leave the waiting room after vaccinations at least for 20 minutes. Not sure why civilian doctors are ok with you leaving after vaccainations, but in my previous experiences my children went to military hospitals and you had to wait 20-30 minutes in waiting area before leaving in case of instant side effects.)

DD, 18, first shot and she was terribly sick for about two weeks. Weak and mono like symptoms. We didn't do any more after that.

Both my kids (boy and girl) have had it and neither had any reaction at all.

My son fainted after the first vaccine. From what I read, this is a common side effect that can happen with many vaccines. He is fine and no permanent harm. We continued with the series. No more fainting.

Yes. My 12 year old had round 1 a bit ago. He was quite unhappy for perhaps 36 hours. Weak and fluish (not really flu-like, but milder). Then it passed. He will have his second round, but we will time it so that he can have two days of rest.

I lost a friend to throat cancer, and that is way worse than a few days illness.

Horses as well, they kill hpv or remove them, they can always pick warts up again

You then developed "acquired immunity" and can not get chicken pox again
