Got a little suggestion for your spirit in the new year: Get One!! You boosters who feign non-bias and act nonchalant and detached while your white knuckles slam the keyboard as you angrily attack are getting so old on here. You all really do the school a disservice. Helicopter booster trolls do not make the school appealing. Desperate- yes!
other than environment, not seeing a whole lot of difference with some of the other bilingual preschool and pre k. Not bashing MV, just saying on paper several programs could claim the same or very similar things.Anonymous wrote:did you just say the same thing twice?Anonymous wrote:A few reason why MV IS THE BEST:
1) Full immersion for pre-K 3 AND pre-K 3

I hate to break it to you - this is DC law - and occcurs in every DC Public School

How is this different from most other schools in DC?

It's still by lottery, amd there are new people coming to DC & this forum all the time. So when an incident like the protest brings negative light on a school, it's natural tp counterbalance it with boosting.
Why is it ever a wasye of time to say you love your kids school and why you love it?
Saying why you love it is useful. Just saying it's the best, and using lots of exclamation points, doesn't strike me as useful.
The style may not have been what I'd have chosen, but op was extending an invitation to find out more about the school. Many will find this information useful.
Many will find it obnoxious when they waste their time only to discover that the chances are slim to none to get in. It'd been more helpful to say why the school is "great" and why the bullying debate was just that- a bunch of bull. No one cares about it and people would still take a slot at the school in a second. The boosterism is silly.
you are a hater, na-na-na-na-na!
And you are a mean and ugly troll! Too bad dcum is your playground. Find somewhere else to lurk. Real parents with real children would appreciate it!
i can just see you turning all red-faced and angry. calm down, it isn't that serious.
