Pilgrim Lutheran Church at 5500 Massachusetts Ave in Bethesda has a great music program, usually with a beautiful orchestra that plays during the services.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Foundry United Methodist on 16th Street. It is also known for its great music and amazing choir.

I think you'd find St. Columba's service and music quite beautiful and the congregation very welcoming.
