PP is right, it's really nice to get meat too. The eggs are great - the only problem is I eat hard boiled eggs and they are SO fresh they're a pita to peel!
cheese. I have a friend who loves the olive oil they sell. Butter.

But you don't need their cooler, they are more then happy to use whatever one you put out.

Look at Holy Cow Delivery. They are now delivering 100% organic milk from a farm in Pennsylvania, too.

Yes, it's more expensive than some other options, but as I see it I would rather spend the money to support a local, sustainable business rather than give it to big agra at Safeway. It's a priority for our family and DH and I willingly sacrifice in other areas.
Yes. It probably won't be enough for us to switch because: 1) I'd rather support a small farmer than the agricultural-industrial complex, and 2) it gives us a lot of flexibility in when/how we do the rest of our shopping if we know we always have milk in the house, but still, it seems as though more people I know are using SMC and delivery costs per person should go down as more people join. Oh well.

Nope, it's a flat $4.99 for everyone.
For me, it's worth it to have that much less to lug home from the grocery, also if I don't make it to the grocery for some reason I know I can count on making scrambled eggs with cheese and a glass of milk for dinner
