So you take 10 children and strollers through the line?

I'm the PP you quoted. No, either you take turns, maybe two or three mothers at a time, or one mother can go and order for several people while her friends watch her child in the stroller for a few minutes. It isn't rocket science.

Is this a PACE group?

Who on earth came up with this idea? Unless you're a celebrity and can pay to have the restaurant closed down to service you and your friends only this is just down right a rude thing to do.

McGintys in Silver Spring has an upstairs dining room that you could probably reserve for yourself . . you'd have to enter through the mall and walk through the bar w/the strollers.

This happens at our Corner Bakery and Panera all the time. Maybe go a little early or late to avoid peak times. Some Asian places have separate party rooms for larger crowds, but you need to call ahead to reserve.

The only place I would do this is like, Chick-fil-A. Or Chuck E Cheese. Somewhere designed to hold many children. A restaurant... I just feel bad for whoever sits near you. No offense, I'm sure your kids are lovely, but 10 women and kids is a LOT going on.

Agree with pp. Find someone with a big enough home. It sounds pushy to me to expect anyplace to accomodate that many strollers.

If all of the kids are so young, why not have your spouses watch the kids and you all go out for some real, kid-free fun? You know, a meal where you can be an adult and just eat and gab and not have to feed another person, change another person, etc. It would probably be more fun, quieter and less stressful.

So are they sitting on moms' laps or in their strollers? You're not parking 10 strollers around the table, right?
