I'm a DW and I hate talking before bed. actually DH does too. sometimes we both forget that we hate it and we have to tell each other to shut up and go to bed.

My aunt was telling me that for whatever reason she had to share a room with her parents at one point and that my grandparents would wake each other up *in the middle of the night* and start chatting, and then one of them would decide to make some tea and they would sit chatting for an hour and then go to bed.

Needless to say, rooming with them was terribly uncomfortable for my poor aunt!
