Any recommendations? I want to stay under $30. Thanks

Nerf gun and extra ammo. All boys like this.

OP, I have a 10-year-old son, and we don't have a video game system. Some ideas: Legos, football/soccerball/baseballs/tennis balls -- really any kind of balls, paper airplane kit, dartboard, non-fiction books (DK series is awesome). Novels are great too, but it can be hard to know a kid's interest, reading level and what he might already have read.

I am the OP.

I did not give all the details as I did not think it necessary for the information I was looking for - a recommendation for a toy for a 10YO boy for a giving tree.

But just to shut down this silliness. The organization I am working with gave me a specific child. They game me the child's 1st and last name - I did not feel the need to disclose this. They asked that I wrap the gift AND put a tag on it with the child's name.

Happy Holidays to all.

I hope everyone can find a moment to share their blessings - whatever they may be.
