maybe you could take the dress's idea and duplicate it in a longer style; ie skirt + top? Just lovely and simple!

Very pretty dress for the right body. Is short on the model...will it be that short on you? Black tights? The no tights, no nothing is going to be too much for most any party (except alone at home)

It depends on the party...definitely not for a work party or family-type of Christmas party. If it's a trendy party or one held at a lounge/bar then maybe. I do like it and think you have the right body type to pull it off...but what kind of holiday party are we talking here? Also- I don't think it's practical to wear in the dead of winter with no tights.

This would definitely be a tunic on me, no matter what size it is!

first one is awful.

I'm tall, thin and lucky to have nice legs. At 36, I'd probably feel too old to wear something this short for social events. I would definitely not wear it for any work-related event.

Sorry, that dress is very short, and I don't think it's appropriate to wear to a work party or if you're out of your 20's.

It would look nice on my 21-year old niece, however.

I think if you think you can pull it off, go for it. You won't look good forever, enjoy it. Black hose might make it ok for work party depending on the party details.
