Subject: Where can I find a nice, quality, interesting but professional looking bag for $150 or less?
A couple of years ago I got a large Burberry nylon tote for about $195...it looked like this:

I don't know if they are still available but it's the best bag I have used for work. Fits everything, I got it in black so it matches a lot, and has a zipper so nothing falls out.
