I've had a lot of depressing opportunities to cheat. I say it like that because things like this never happened to me when I was single. It's like they waited until I was married just to mess with me.

I've been propositioned by friends, coworkers and managers. One coworker told me that she was in love with me and thought she picked up on similar feelings from me. When I turned her down she asked me to give her a chance to change my mind after work.

A life long friend that is also married asked if I wanted to have a one time thing because she couldn't get over her husband's affair.

I met a lady in the gym who knew I was married because she'd met my wife there a week earlier. As I was leaving she walked up to me and asked if I'd like to go out for drinks before I went home to my wife.

And finally (but not my only example) I went out to a networking event a few months ago and met a woman who works with my wife but says she only knows her in passing. After a few drinks she asked me if I wanted to sneak out and maybe finish this up at her place.

I turned down every situation, but I swear to God that I think about them every time my wife isn't in the mood. It's amazing what fantasy tells you that you'd do vs reality.

a much younger coworker has been taking cig breaks, flirting a lot, and asked me out. it's fun, she's really cute, smart, etc. but the truth is, i'm married and twice her age. i don't need whatever kind of fucked up daddy issues she has going on. she's leaving the company soon, so it won't be awkward.

I had several opportunities back when I was married but never took them, until eventually I did after about 12 years of marriage. I fooled around with a married woman and it all turned into a big clusterfuck and everyone got divorced. That was over ten years ago and I have stayed single ever since. I get hit on occasionally by married women but I just run like hell now.

It never happens to me because women don't like me. I am lucky that my wife married me. It is a miracle that I keep her happy.

It happens to my friends who go to bars and get drunk a lot. It never happens to me. Every so often I get a nice long look and a smile from a stranger, but I don't make any move to talk to her, so it ends there.

I've taken up the opportunities, usually when I was at a bar at night (a rare occurrence). I don't get alot of women hitting on me, probably because I'm not putting out that vibe, as I am a handsome guy. I don't hide the fact I'm married (except once or twice I did).

On a plane trip I had a woman give me her card and say to call (she was flying back to her home town) but never did. I am very easy to talk to but not the cheating kind. Truthfully, I waited a long time to meet someone as super as my wife and don't want to screw it up.

Not true. My affair partner used to try to spend the whole day with me. Of course, that was early on. That doesn't happen any more.

probably had a chance on a business trip and based on the circumstance, she probably would have never even asked or know that i was married.
