Me, too (with the exception of apple pie, which I love)! On years when we don't travel to our families', DH and I have done beef tenderloins, risottos, cornish game hens. Garlic-roasted root vegetables. Amaretto apple crisp for a lighter and yummier dessert.
Part of what turns me off is the sheer gluttony. Stuffing and mashed potatos and sweet potatos and rolls, and, and, and..... I have family members who are seriously overweight and it's upsetting to watch people just eat thousands and thousands of calories at one meal.
